Small Waters Project

The Wyoming Water Development Commission has developed the Small Water Project Program (SWPP) to improve watershed condition and function throughout the state.

Landowners wishing to apply must submit an application through a public entity sponsor (i.e. conservation district), rather than directly to the Wyoming Water Development Commission.

Potential eligible projects provide public benefit and include small reservoirs, wells, solar platforms, pipelines, and irrigation works. The program allows reimbursement of 50% of eligible expenses up to $35,000. Consult the SWPP guidance document below for details on the Small Water Project Program.
